I created Canine Point of View to help families use positive reinforcement training philosophies to learn to better communicate with their dogs. I train dogs of all breeds and sizes to be better household members.
When your dog understands what you expect from him or her, they are happier and more fun to be with. However, as an owner, you need to learn how to speak to your pet so he or she understands what you are asking from him or her. Using the proper commands and rewarding good behavior with positive reinforcement can result to great success with a dog’s training.

How I Can Help
Whether your pet is a new puppy or an older member of the household having problem adjusting to something new, my training can make a huge difference in your dog’s behavior. The key to success with any dog training program is effective communication.
My training is focused on you, the owner. While I will obviously work with your dog, the idea is for me to teach you how to train your dog. I will explain and demonstrate and then watch you as you do it yourself. This will not be a passive experience where you spend the whole time watching. You will be in the game, getting your hands dirty. This will be a fun experience for you, your dog, and your whole family.
Every situation and every dog is different. What you want as an owner can also be different. With this in mind, I do not etch my plans in a stone. I will customize a plan that caters to you and your dog’s specific needs. If you put in the time and adhere to my instructions, you will see measurable improvement quickly.
